FRAUD NOTIFICATION: Deposit scam

It has been brought to our attention that some fraudulent advertisements and attempted deposit scams have occurred from someone operating under the name Camelot Real Estate, a Camelot Europe company.

It has been brought to our attention that there is a fraudulent website and advertisements acting under the name Camelot-RealEstate. The listings are using stock images of properties from affluent areas. Once in correspondence, you begin an email conversation with the 'Property Owner' Simon Bauer. Correspondence is usually via email or text and you will find it difficult to contact them any other way.

When arranging to viewing, the 'Home Owner' requests that deposits are sent through 'HomeAway' and that you can collect the keys from a 'Key Scheme'.

Please do not arrange to meet anyone posing as Simon Bauer or from the camelot-realestate email address or using the logo above. Please do not send them monies / arrange to meet them with money. Never share your personal information and do not click on the links within the emails.

Have you been a victim of fraud?

You should always be able to contact and meet a representative of our (and any) company – if you feel that you have a victim of this deposit scheme, contact us asap on 0203 176 3333.
