Location: London E8 (a 2 minute walk from overground Dalston Junction-Hackney)

Salary: £21.5K per annum + pension + 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)

We are working hard on managing the growth of our UK organisation and we are looking for a skilled handyman with experience in the property management industry to manage a portfolio of properties in the South area. You will join a team of young professionals of property managers, guardian managers, quality assurance staff and sales staff. For us it is all about Work Hard & Play hard, with an office located in the trendy Dalston Hackney area, London’s most liveable borough!!

The Technical Property Services Agent is one of Camelot’s most important front line roles, which is helping to keep the properties we manage safe for its occupants and pleasant to live in. You will be tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that all basic maintenance issues are dealt with in a timely manner, and are done to a good standard of work. The incident reporting process must be followed and subsequent follow up actions are taken. The job requires you to report in regularly, but using your own judgement on what and how to maintain parts of the property rests with you. The role does require significant travel so you MUST possess a full clean driving licence.



Inspect properties on a 30 days inspection Rota

Complete inspection reports

Report property issues

Key Room Management

Install Void Alarm Cases, Watchtowers, CCTV and other Security Services

Carrying out Fire Risk Assessments (relevant training will be provided)

Changes and installs new locks as and when required

Completes scheduled maintenance works


The ideal candidate will have the following attributes/ experience:

•             Must be polite and have good interpersonal skills.

•             MUST have full driving licence

•             Minimum of 1 years` experience in a similar role

•             Flexible to the needs of the business.

•             Available for out of hours emergency response (additional pay).

•             Ability to follow instructions.

•             Good communication; verbal and written.

•             Strong team player, who is also able to work autonomously.

•             Managing diary and workflow.

•             A commitment to providing good customer service.

•             Efficient and precise

•             Well organised, with an eye for detail and able to use own initiative.


Skills and Experience required:

Basic plumbing, decorating, room/site clearance, cleaning, gardening, boarding-up, understanding of H&S, investigative works.

Additional desirable skills: tiling, electrics.
