The town of Crewe is quite religious. It is home to a variety of churches: six Anglican; three Methodist; one Roman Catholic; and two Baptist.

Crewe also has Queen's Park. This is the town’s main park and is currently undergoing a £6.5 million transformation.

Crewe's local football club is Crewe Alexandra. Although the club itself if moving between first and second division league football, the club has a reputation of developing young players through its youth ranks.
