Flood Prevention

Camelot in association with Floodtite now offer a complete flood prevention service, helping you to protect your property from the distress and destruction caused by a flood.

The following floodtite products can be used separately or together to compose a complete anti-flooding solution

Floodtite door panel

A plastic panel which screws onto a fixing frame onto the door frame leaving the stone façade or brickwork undamaged. They are manufactured from high impact polystyrene using a vacuum forming technique, and the U shaped bottom, with its integral seal, is unique to our panels. This U shape uses the action of the floodwater itself to strengthen the seal.

The door panels and the fixing frame are manufactured in the UK in an ISO 9001:2008 accredited factory in Oxfordshire. The complete unit is delivered ready for fixing, together with full instructions and contact details to arrange a convenient fitting appointment.

After the initial installation of the fixing frame, the panel can be stored away until a flood alert warning when it can be fitted in minutes with no additional tools, therefore offering a quick and convenient solution.

Panels fit most door widths and are available in the following sizes: 840mm, 900mm, 1000mm, 1200mm and 1500mm widths, making them suitable for most door openings, whether they are single doorways or French Window doorways.

The door panels and airbrick covers have been awarded the Kite mark certification for BSI specification PAS 1188-1:2009 Flood Protection Products for Building Apertures, License Number KM 562762.

Floodtite Airbrick Cover

Airbrick covers are specifically designed to help stop the ingress of water through the often forgotten vents which supply ventilation to the area under floor boards. These vents - in the form of airbricks - are essential to enable the house to 'breathe'. In times of flood they can let in up to 50,000 litres of water an hour.

The Floodtite airbrick covers are available in two sizes to protect a single or double airbrick.

Floodtite Toilet 'Panseal'

The Floodtite 'Panseal' is an essential device for a downstairs toilet which securely creates a seal around the toilet pan rim to prevent the back-flow of foul waste water.
